VOTE NOW: 2007 Black Belt Hall of Fame and 2nd Annual Black Belt Industry Awards

2007 Black Belt Hall of Fame

Once again, Black Belt provides you the opportunity to elect your favorite martial artists to the prestigious Black Belt Hall of Fame! You may nominate any individual who you feel deserves recognition for his or her contributions to the growth and prestige of the martial arts.

Make selections in as many categories as you wish, but remember that it takes only one vote to nominate a candidate for a particular award.

Select only martial artists who have achieved recognition beyond their immediate schools.

Nominations will be tabulated after the August 31, 2007, deadline for submissions. The winners will be those who have received a significant number of nominations in a given category. In some cases, a martial artist may be nominated even if he/she has been largely overlooked in public balloting but, in the opinion of the Black Belt editorial staff, deserves to be in the running for membership.

Once votes for the nominees are tallied, a panel composed of Black Belt staff members and previous Hall of Fame inductees will make the final selections.

The winners will be profiled in a future issue of the magazine.
