On August 23, 2008, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., at Pitts' Martia Arts Academy in Oakland, California, the Universal Martial Arts Academy will present a special seminar joining original jeet kune do and small-circle jujitsu.

The jeet kune do segment of the seminar will be taught by Dr. Z. Born and raised in China, Dr. Z grew up practicing tai chi chuan, wing chun, choy li fut, northern Shaolin kung fu and western boxing. After coming to America, Dr. Z started his JKD training with Dan Inosanto and Ted Wong. After three decades of training, Dr. Z continues to share his knowledge of martial arts and medicine through a variety of seminars.

Topics for the jeet kune do portion of this special seminar will include footwork, lead weapons, trapping and intercepting.

The other segment of the seminar, covering small-circle jujitsu and ju-trap boxing, will be taught by Professor James Hundon. Professor Hundon is the founder of Universal Martial Arts Academy, Nor Cal Small Circle Jujitsu, and the art of ju-trap boxing (JTB). He has more than 35 years of experience in the martial arts and is a first-generation student of Great Grandmaster Wally Jay, the founder of small-circle jujitsu. (Jay will be featured as an honored guest.)

Topics for the small-circle jujitsu/ju-trap boxing portion of this special seminar will include sensitivity drills, locking, high-low fundamentals and transitional flow.
